CosmoDoggyNews: Montreal International Dog Show

Ch Debessiere Valentino Mi Amor  the Miniature Schnauzer who won  Best Puppy In Show (Conformation Show) on Sunday,  and his handler Nicole Vaillancourt.

The show gathered numerous trainers, breeders, dog lovers, and incredible canines of different breeds, such as Pekingese, Bulldog, Shih Tzu, Bearded Collie, Pointer, German Shepherd, American Cocker Spaniel, Basenji, Siberian Husky, Beagle, Samoyed and many more, coming from different parts of Canada and the United States.











Among the attendees, there were also dogs and representatives from organizations like the MIRA Foundation and Therapeutic Paws of Canada who showcased they do to make a difference.

Three MIRA service dogs and their trainers. MIRA Foundation matches handicapped individuals with guide and companion dogs trained to satisfy their needs.

Chico, a Shih Tzu who volunteers as a therapy dog for Therapeutic Paws of Canada, participates in the senior visitation programs of this organization.

Willow & Lian

Willow (13) and her daughter Lian (9), two wonderful volunteer therapy dogs working for Therapeutic Paws of Canada.


They participate in Paws to Read, a program designed to help children improve their reading skills, as well as in the senior visitation program.
